Ministry of Transport and Communications: Six Imported Counterfeit Vehicles Seized in Nablus and Legal Action Taken Against Violators
SadaNews - The Ministry of Transport and Communications announced the seizure of six counterfeit imported vehicles in Nablus.
The ministry stated in a press release that "as part of joint efforts between the Directorate of Transport and Communications and the inspection and monitoring unit teams in Nablus Governorate, in cooperation with the General Intelligence and Preventive Security services and the accredited inspection centers and security agencies in the governorate, a counterfeit imported vehicle was seized, which involved tampering with the identification plate and chassis number".


It added: "The technical follow-up and investigations resulted in the formation of a specialized committee to inspect the exhibition and the associated vehicles, revealing the presence of five additional counterfeit vehicles that were prepared for sale".
All were seized, and the owner of the exhibition was detained to complete the legal procedures against him.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications emphasized the importance of citizens' compliance when purchasing imported vehicles by exclusively going to the accredited inspection centers of the ministry to ensure the safety of the vehicles and the absence of any tampering or forgery, in order to protect their rights and safety.
