Israel: Consumer Price Index Rises by 0.4% from Last March

SadaNews Economy Translation - The Consumer Price Index in Israel rose by 0.4% compared to March of last year, while the increase in the same month of the previous year was 0.5%, leading to a decrease in the annual inflation rate to 1.9%

According to SadaNews Economy translation, noticeable increases were recorded in the prices of fresh vegetables by 5.2%, clothing by 3.0%, housing by 0.5%, and transport and communications by 0.4%.

Meanwhile, significant decreases were noted in the prices of furniture and household appliances and various goods, with each declining by 0.3%.

While apartment prices continued to decline, the annual comparison between January and February 2025 and January and February 2026 showed a notable decrease of 1.7%, with Tel Aviv recording the largest drop at 5.1%.
