Opening of the Application Submission for Import Requests of Goods within the 2026 Quota
SadaNews Economy - The Ministry of National Economy announced today, Sunday, the opening of the application submission for import requests of goods within the quota for 2026.
The ministry called on those wishing to import to head to the ministry's headquarters to fill out the necessary import requests and complete their data update procedures.
It indicated the requirements for completing the application submission, which include a valid factory license for factories, and a certificate from the auditor regarding the quantities of production manufactured during 2026, certified by the Ministry of Industry in the directorates (specific to industrial products), in addition to attaching a clearance certificate for value-added tax, income tax, and customs, as well as a foreign trade dealing card, and a company registration certificate or commercial registration.
The ministry noted that the last date for submitting applications is Thursday, April 9, 2026, and therefore the committee will not consider applications submitted after this date.
