Statistics: Trade deficit for recorded goods increases by 15% in December
SadaNews - The Central Bureau of Statistics stated that the trade deficit for recorded goods increased by 15% during December 2025 compared to December 2024, with a deficit value of 500.9 million dollars.
The statistics office said in a statement today, Monday, that goods exports during October 2025 rose by 15% compared to October 2024, with a value of 190.2 million US dollars.
It clarified that exports to Israel increased during December 2025 by 22% compared to December 2024, accounting for 89% of the total value of exports in December 2025. In contrast, exports to the rest of the world decreased by 19% compared to December 2024.
Imports during December 2025 rose by 15% compared to December 2024, with a value of 691.1 million US dollars.
Imports from Israel during December 2025 increased by 24% compared to December 2024, comprising 59% of the total value of imports for December 2025. Additionally, imports from the rest of the world rose by 5% compared to December 2024.
