Industrial production quantities decreased by 1.57% in November 2025 in Palestine
SadaNews - The industrial production quantity index recorded a decrease of 1.57% in November 2025 compared to October 2025, as the index dropped to 84.37 in November 2025 compared to 85.72 in October 2025 (base year 2019 = 100).
The movement of industrial production quantities at the level of major economic activities during November 2025 compared to the previous month
The activities of electricity, gas, steam supply, and air conditioning recorded a decrease of 7.01%, with its relative importance being 7.38% of total industrial activities.
Manufacturing activities recorded a decrease of 1.27% in November 2025 compared to the previous month, holding a relative importance of 87.89% of total industrial activities.
In terms of sub-activities that have a significant impact on the overall index, several manufacturing sectors showed a decline in November 2025 compared to the previous month, notably; the production of other non-metallic minerals, clothing manufacturing, food production, textile manufacturing, printing and reproduction of recorded media, tobacco production, and wood and wood product manufacturing.
On the other hand, the index recorded an increase in some activities, primarily; furniture manufacturing, chemical and chemical product manufacturing, leather and related product manufacturing, and basic pharmaceutical products and preparations manufacturing.
Mining and quarrying activities recorded a decrease of 0.46%, with a relative importance of 2.89% of total industrial activities.
Meanwhile, water supply, sewage, waste management, and treatment activities recorded an increase of 10.40%, with a relative importance of 1.84% of total industrial activities.
