Decrease in Fuel Price per Liter in Israel by 26 Agorot at the Start of 2026
SadaNews - The price of a liter of gasoline in Israel will drop by 26 agorot at midnight on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
The Fuel and Gas Administration of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in Israel announced today, Tuesday, that the prices of supervised fuel products sold to consumers at fuel stations will be updated at midnight on Wednesday/Thursday (December 31, 2025 - January 1, 2026).
The price of a liter of unleaded gasoline with 95 octane for consumers at self-service stations (including VAT) will not exceed 6.85 shekels, a decrease of 26 agorot from the previous update. The full-service fees will remain at 25 agorot per liter (including VAT), unchanged from the previous update.
For the first time in two years, the price of gasoline has dropped to below 7 shekels per liter.
