New Government Decisions Include Water, Energy, and Judicial Regulation
SadaNews - The Palestinian Cabinet approved today, Tuesday, the recommendations of the Water Regulatory Sector regarding the wholesale water pricing for water suppliers for the next three years, emphasizing the prevention of cost increases for citizens and enhancing the required efficiency from operators.
It also approved the renewal of contracts with employees to regulate traffic on the Kfar Aqab - Qalandiya/Jerusalem street for a duration of 6 months.
The Cabinet also approved a memorandum of understanding between the Electricity and Natural Resources Authority and the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for cooperation in areas of electricity interconnection, exchanging expertise, and facilitating the implementation of projects of mutual interest.
Additionally, it discussed for the first reading two draft laws concerning settlement courts and the fees of the land and water settlement court.
