Ireland Offers an Additional 6 Million Euros in Aid to Gaza
SadaNews Economy - The Irish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Simon Harris, announced that his country will provide an additional 6 million euros in humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through UN organizations.
He clarified that the 6 million euros will be allocated to Ireland's partners in the United Nations, including 2 million euros for UNICEF, 2 million euros for the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, 1 million euros for the World Food Programme, and 1 million euros for the World Health Organization.
Ireland will also work on providing 1,500 tents that will be shipped from Amman to Gaza via the International Organization for Migration.
