Al-Quds Al-Sharif Welfare Agency Funds Small Projects in Jerusalem Governorate Villages

SadaNews - The Al-Quds Al-Sharif Welfare Agency launched today, Monday, a bundle of small support projects aimed at securing sustainable income sources for needy families in several villages in the Jerusalem governorate, with support from the Moroccan Association for the Reconstruction of Palestine.

The support is distributed across various sectors, including livestock and cattle breeding, cheese and dairy production, confectionery manufacturing, sewing, embroidery, beauty, and wedding supplies, as well as multipurpose equipped kiosks.

On this occasion, the acting director general of public affairs in the governorate, In'am Zaiter, confirmed that these initiatives "come within the framework of supporting small and micro-projects as a tool to enhance economic and social resilience."

For his part, the director of the Civil Peace Department in the Jerusalem governorate, Dawood Al-Jahalin, expressed his appreciation for the fruitful partnership between the Al-Quds Al-Sharif Welfare Agency and the city’s institutions, whether official or civil.

The beneficiaries all praised this initiative, which provides them with a valuable opportunity to own productive projects that serve as a real leverage to enhance their resilience and improve their families' income levels.

In this context, Adel Qatmeera, who received equipment for parties, stated that this support "will help me support my family of seven individuals. Many thanks and appreciation to our brothers in Morocco for their sincere stand with us."

Khalida Awda, who received gaming devices, said, "This small project that came to us through the Al-Quds Al-Sharif Welfare Agency will have a significant impact on improving our living conditions."

For her part, Tammam Awaisat, who received equipment for making sweets, emphasized that the initiative came at the right time "to support the resilience of Palestinian families amid the difficult economic conditions currently experienced by the governorate."
