Israeli Government Body Allocates 25 Million Shekels to Families of Dead and Wounded Israelis from Palestinian Tax Revenues

SadaNews Translation - The Israeli Authority for Execution and Collection announced today the collection of 25 million shekels from Palestinian tax revenues for the benefit of families of Israeli dead and wounded in militant operations.

According to SadaNews translation, a prominent issue is an executive file raised by 41 families of Israeli dead and wounded in 2019. This file is based on a civil judgment against the Palestinian Authority issued by the Central Court of Jerusalem.

The court had ordered compensation for various militant attacks.

Through execution procedures, the Israeli Authority for Execution and Collection collected 23,698,281 shekels from funds of the Palestinian Authority which Israel appropriates, in addition to additional amounts for specific families affected by the militant attacks.

The so-called Israeli "Anti-Terrorism Committee" stated that these measures are part of broader efforts by Israel to ensure that families of dead and wounded Israelis receive compensation.
