The Monetary Authority Completes Linking Government Institutions to the E-SADAD Platform
SadaNews Economy - The Governor of the Monetary Authority, Yahya Shanar, announced the completion of linking most government ministries and institutions to the E-SADAD platform, allowing citizens to pay the fees for the services provided by these government institutions electronically at any time without commissions.
This comes in line with the decision of the Palestinian Cabinet dated May 27, 2025, which included instructing government departments to complete the linking of government services on the E-SADAD platform by the end of August of this year.
Shanar indicated that the E-SADAD platform currently allows the public to pay most fees for government services electronically, and that all government services will gradually be integrated to enable electronic fee payments through the platform.
Shanar explained that these efforts are part of the digital transformation plans adopted by the government and the Monetary Authority aimed at leveraging technology in executing services and payments, ultimately reducing reliance on cash in buying, selling, and trade financing.
In a related context, the Monetary Authority is working on spreading electronic buying and selling services by providing QR code technology and the iBURAQ instant payment system, in addition to the SADAD GATE electronic payment gateway to facilitate e-commerce and payment settlement through various websites, which contributes to providing electronic payment solutions that meet the needs of different segments and projects in Palestine.
