Telecommunications Regulatory Authority: More than a Quarter Million Mobile Phones Entered the Palestinian Market in the First Half of 2025
SadaNews Economy - The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced that the number of mobile phones introduced into the State of Palestine during the first half of 2025 exceeded a quarter of a million devices, through accredited official channels, in accordance with the applicable regulations and technical instructions.
The Authority confirmed that these figures reflect the ongoing high demand for smart phones and the increasing rate of digital usage among citizens, amid the growing reliance on smart applications and digital services across various sectors.
The Authority also emphasized the importance of importing devices through legal channels to ensure the quality of the devices and their compliance with technical specifications, thus guaranteeing consumer rights for warranty and protection.
The Authority reiterates its commitment to monitoring the market and controlling any illegal or untraceable devices, calling on citizens to verify the legality of devices through the means provided by the Authority, and to report any violations via the toll-free number 131.
