A Delegation from the Palestinian Businessmen Association - Jerusalem Visits Jenin and Affirms Support for its Economic Resilience

SadaNews - The Palestinian Businessmen Association - Jerusalem organized a visit to the Jenin Governorate, in coordination with the Jenin Business Forum, aiming to assess the economic situation in the governorate and meet with the association members there. The visit took place within the framework of enhancing communication with various Palestinian governorates and supporting the resilience of the business community, as well as exchanging insights between the association and the forum.

The delegation was headed by Mr. Kamal Mujahid, the association's president, and included Mr. Hisham Zaid, the vice president, Mr. Mujtaba Tabilah, the treasurer, Mr. Jamal Al-Amour, a board member, Mr. Abdul Rahim Saleh, a supervisory board member, and the association's general manager, Mr. Jihad Aql.

The delegation was received by Mr. Hisham Musad, the president of the Jenin Business Forum, along with several board members of the forum, where they welcomed the delegation and reviewed the visit's agenda.

Mr. Hisham Musad, president of the Jenin Business Forum, along with board members Mr. Salim Al-Saadi, Mr. Muayad Lahlooh, Mr. Imad Abu Bakr, and Mr. Mahmoud Abu Hamdi, welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of this visit.

The tour included field visits to several economic establishments, including:
•    The "Zaman" Trading and Construction Materials Company (owned by Ghaleb and Jafar Al-Haj Hassan)
•    Al-Haddad Agricultural Tools Factory (owned by Ibrahim Al-Haddad)
•    Al-Jalbuni Factory (owned by Nu’man Ahmad Saleh)
•    Green Gold Factory (owned by Raghib and Ahmad Al-Haj Hassan)
•    Cinemas Complex and Hotel (owned by Abdullah Al-Saadi)
•    Abu Al-Saba’a Group of Companies (owned by Hatem Abu Al-Saba’a)

The delegation also toured the neighborhoods in the city of Jenin, where they observed the extent of the damage caused by the recent aggression and expressed their solidarity with the affected residents.

During the visit, a joint meeting was held between the association's board and the Jenin Business Forum's board, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Palestinian Businessmen Association institutions, reviewed possible interventions to support businessmen in Jenin in facing economic challenges, and addressed the main difficulties they encounter in the current circumstances.

In his speech, Mr. Kamal Mujahid, president of the association, affirmed that "the Palestinian private sector and the business community face significant challenges under the current economic and political conditions; however, the determination of Palestinian businessmen and their insistence on working and producing will remain the foundation for protecting the national economy, and we will exert every effort to mobilize all resources to strengthen their resilience and sustain their businesses."

For his part, Mr. Hisham Musad, president of the Jenin Business Forum, expressed his appreciation for this visit, stating: "The presence of the delegation from the Jerusalem Businessmen Association in Jenin is a strong message of support for businessmen in the governorate, reflecting the unity and integration of the Palestinian private sector's efforts in facing economic and social challenges. "

The delegation concluded its visit by affirming the continuation of communication and intensifying joint efforts to serve the business sector in Palestine and strengthen the Palestinian identity in facing the difficult circumstances.
