The Public Petroleum Authority Announces Fuel and Gas Prices for August
SadaNews Economy - The Public Petroleum Authority in the Ministry of Finance announced this evening, Thursday, the maximum selling prices of fuels and gas to consumers for the month of August 2025 in the provinces of the country.
According to the new prices, the price of a liter of gasoline (95 octane), the most common and widely used, has decreased by five agoras to reach 6.90 shekels. The price of a liter of gasoline (98 octane) also fell by five agoras to reach 7.84 shekels.
The price of a liter of diesel increased by two agoras to reach 5.89 shekels, and the same applies to the price of a liter of kerosene, which rose to 5.89 shekels.
There were no changes to gas prices, which are as follows: the price of a 2.5 kg gas cylinder is 15 shekels, a 5 kg cylinder is 30 shekels, a 12 kg cylinder is 70 shekels, and a 48 kg cylinder is 280 shekels. The price of gas delivery to buildings and institutions is 3.06 shekels per liter, and the price per kilogram of gas delivery to buildings and institutions is 5.37 shekels, while the service for delivering a cylinder to the consumer's home is only 2 shekels.
The Petroleum Authority urged fuel station operators and gas distributors to adhere to the announced prices under the threat of legal responsibility.
