The Minister of Labor Opens the First Vocational Training Center in Dura City, Marking an Important Milestone in the Development of Vocational Training in Palestine

SadaNews - The Minister of Labor, Dr. Inas Al-Atari, inaugurated the first vocational training center in Dura city, which represents an important milestone in the development of vocational training in Palestine.

The minister explained that this center embodies the ministry's vision of providing quality vocational training that keeps pace with rapid technological developments and responds to the labor market needs for modern vocational specialties. She noted that the successful experience of the Dura center will serve as a model to be emulated and will be replicated in other areas, aiming to empower youth and women and open new horizons for work and innovation.

Dr. Al-Atari confirmed that the first Dura vocational training center represents a true model of effective partnership between the public and private sectors, as it has been fully equipped in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and private sector institutions, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and national integration to advance the vocational training sector.

During the opening, two courses were graduated: "E-Marketing" and "Graphic Design." The minister emphasized the ministry's commitment to supporting graduates of vocational training centers and enabling them to enter the labor market, equipped with the highest levels of competence and readiness.

Dr. Al-Atari pointed out that the Ministry of Labor, through 12 government vocational training centers distributed across all governorates of the West Bank, offers all programs and vocational specialties that align with labor market needs.

This event was attended by the Minister of Culture, Imad Al-Din Hamdan, the Governor of Hebron, Khaled Dudin, the Mayor of Dura, Mohannad Amro, and heads and members of municipal and local councils, the southern Hebron region, members and heads of chambers of commerce, the South Hebron Businessmen Forum, heads and members of cooperative and charitable associations, and representatives from civil society organizations.
