SadaNews - Media personality Mamdouh Moussa revealed a big surprise for art fans in the Arab world from the ocean to the gulf, announcing a new documentary program to be aired soon, showcasing the artistic and human journey of the great artist Adel Imam, allowing him to reappear to his audience after an absence of nearly 6 years from the artistic scene.

Mamdouh Moussa stated during his appearance on the "Al-Hekaya" program broadcast on MBC Masr, on Tuesday evening, that the program is titled "The Leader's Memory Box", confirming that the work will serve as a comprehensive documentation of an extraordinary artistic journey that has influenced entire generations of the Arab audience.

He added: "Adel Imam is for all of us the spiritual father of art, and this program is a gift for the entire Arab nation, as he is an artist who has been able to enter every Arab home and create a special atmosphere that will not be repeated."

Documenting the Leader's Journey

Moussa explained that his relationship with the Leader extends over 40 years, during which he accompanied him on many trips inside and outside Egypt, pointing out that the program will not be limited to showcasing his artistic journey, but will also reveal human and personal aspects that have not been presented before, along with rare behind-the-scenes from his daily life and artistic trips.

He noted that the program will cover important milestones in Adel Imam's life, including his trips to the United States, Yemen, Tunisia, and Morocco, in addition to special meetings and memories documenting different stages of his artistic and human history, emphasizing: "The audience will see a different work worthy of the Leader's legacy and documenting his grand journey."

The program is expected to include testimonies from a number of stars and close friends who accompanied Adel Imam during his long journey, along with rare archival materials, photos, and videos being presented for the first time, increasing the anticipation among his audience and fans in the Arab world.

One of the Most Notable Figures in Arab Art

The "Leader" has been absent from participating in any artistic works since he presented the series "Valentino", written by Ayman Bahjat Qamar and directed by Rami Imam, which was aired during Ramadan 2020.

It also starred Dalal Abdel Aziz, Samir Sabri, Dalia El Behery, Mohamed Kilani, Huda El Mufti, Tarek El Ebyari, Wafaa Sadiq, Rania Yassin, and a large group of artists.

It is noteworthy that Adel Imam was born on May 17, 1940. He began his artistic career with small roles in theater and cinema.

He gradually transitioned to become one of the most prominent and influential stars in Arab art, portraying the simple Egyptian citizen with its contradictions and dreams through a blend of satirical comedy and drama.

Despite his absence from the screen, his presence continues to resonate strongly in the Arab street, as his scenes and catchphrases have become a part of the daily life of millions.
