SadaNews - Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General Farhan Haq stated that Israel has forced approximately 40,000 Palestinians to flee in the West Bank since the beginning of last year, 2025, until today.
He added in press statements that the house demolitions carried out by Israeli settlers in the West Bank during the first week of May have led to the displacement of 42 Palestinians, including 24 children.
He explained that the Israeli occupation army and armed settlers who carry out attacks under military protection continue their assaults unabated across all cities in the West Bank.
He pointed out that the settlers' attacks target "the Palestinians and their properties who are the indigenous inhabitants of the region."
