SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces continued, on Friday, to carry out airstrikes on villages and towns in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese ministry of health announced that many Lebanese were martyred yesterday, Thursday, while search efforts are ongoing for missing persons since dawn on Friday due to the continuous airstrikes.

The Israeli army claims that its airstrikes target positions of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

The Lebanese party announced its targeting of Israeli forces with rockets and drones in several areas of southern Lebanon.

Israel is still maintaining a state of alert in its northern regions for fear of a response from Hezbollah to the assassination of its leaders in the southern suburb two days ago.
