Occupation Digs Out Ancient Olive Trees in Aslah Village East of Qalqilya

SadaNews - Today, Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces uprooted ancient olive trees in the lands of Aslah village, west of the town of Izun, east of Qalqilya province, which is located behind the separation wall.

The head of the Aslah village council, Sulaiman Othman, stated that the targeted trees cover hundreds of dunams of village land and are estimated to be hundreds of years old, noting that farmers have been unable to access them since the October War in 2023 due to their location behind the wall.

He added that this land is close to the "Alfi Menashe" settlement, which sits on the lands of Izun and Aslah, and it belongs to several families, including: the Othman, Abu Raji, and Masoud families.

He pointed out that targeting the trees is part of the ongoing violations against agricultural lands in the area.
