Lebanese Health Ministry: 17 Martyrs in 24 Hours and Total Toll Rises to 2696
SadaNews - The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, that the toll of victims from Israeli airstrikes in the past 24 hours has risen to 17 martyrs, bringing the total number of martyrs since March 2 to 2696, in addition to 8264 injured.
The ministry noted a rise in attacks on the health sector, stating that 132 assaults on rescue and ambulance teams have been recorded, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded, alongside the destruction of rescue centers, ambulances, and hospitals.
In the field context, Israeli aircraft continued to carry out airstrikes on wide areas in southern Lebanon, targeting more than 20 sites, including towns from which residents were previously asked to evacuate.
Local sources also reported that the Israeli army issued warnings to the residents of six villages, urging them to leave their homes in preparation for carrying out new strikes in those areas.
