Injuries and Arrests During Raids in the West Bank
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale invasion and raid campaign on several cities and towns in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning and dawn, which included clashes in some areas resulting in injuries from live ammunition and cases of suffocation, in addition to the arrest of dozens of Palestinians and field interrogation with others after raiding their homes.
In Tulkarem Governorate, the town of Anabta witnessed a campaign of arrests that targeted a number of Palestinians, accompanied by property searches and vandalism.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, occupation forces raided the town of Azmout east of the city and arrested the young man Mujahid Smara. They also stormed the Junaid area and the Rafidia neighborhood to the west, where a special force fired at one of the young men and arrested him after he was injured.
The occupation forces initially prevented ambulance crews from reaching the injured before later allowing him to be transported for treatment.
Raids continued in Nablus to include areas of Ras Al-Ain in the middle of the city and Junaid to the west, amid searches and detentions of young men. A wounded young man was also brutally treated after being shot in the Rafidia neighborhood.
In the same context, the forces invaded the town of Sebastia northwest of Nablus, coinciding with land leveling operations in the town of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya.
In Qalqilya, occupation forces stormed the city and raided residential buildings and homes in the Kafr Saba neighborhood, coinciding with extensive military deployment in the neighborhoods.
In Jenin, a young man was injured after his vehicle was targeted by gunfire near the town of Kafr Qud, where local sources reported that the injured is Muhammad Al-Sous from the Jenin camp, who is the brother of two martyrs, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
In Hebron, two boys were shot by occupation forces in the Ras Al-Joura area after gunfire was directed at a Palestinian vehicle at the northern entrance of the city.
Medical sources reported that the boy Mahab Issa Abdul Fattah Ballal (17 years old) was shot in the head and his condition was described as critical, in addition to the injury of the boy Youssef Khalil Mansiyeh with shrapnel in the head, and a third boy was also injured on the road to Halhul north of the city.
In occupied Jerusalem, occupation forces invaded the As-Salam neighborhood in Shufat Refugee Camp, and the towns of Hizma and Al-Qubaybah, coinciding with strict measures that included closing the Shiyah checkpoint, which led to preventing students from reaching their schools inside the town of Jabal Mukabir.
