Iran's National Security Council: We Will Control the Strait of Hormuz Until the End of the War
Sada News - On Saturday, the Iranian Supreme National Security Council stated that Tehran is "determined to control the traffic through the Strait of Hormuz until the war is completely over and a lasting peace is achieved in the region," according to Iranian media reported by Reuters.
The council added that "as long as the enemy continues to impose a naval blockade, Iran will consider it a violation of the ceasefire, and will prevent the conditional and limited opening of the Strait of Hormuz."
It noted that "Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz includes the payment of fees for security, safety services, and environmental protection."
