Hebrew Channel 14 claimed that a Palestinian was injured, alleging that he attempted to carry out a stabbing operation near the "Yakir" settlement close to the town of Deir Istiya, west of Salfit.

The spokesperson for the occupying army stated there was an attempted stabbing operation near the Yakir settlement and that the one who tried to carry it out was neutralized, with no injuries reported.

After shooting the Palestinian young man, whose condition and identity are still unknown, the occupying army closed the Qarawe Bani Hassan gate west of Salfit and obstructed the passage of an ambulance.
