US Central Command: No Ship has Managed to Breach the Blockade on Iran
SadaNews - The US Central Command stated on Tuesday evening that more than 10,000 soldiers from the Navy and Air Force, along with over 12 warships and dozens of aircraft, are conducting a maritime blockade mission on Iranian ports.
The Central Command explained in its statement that during the first 24 hours, no ship managed to breach the US blockade, and six commercial vessels responded to our forces' instructions to turn back and re-enter an Iranian port in the Gulf of Oman. According to the statement.
It added: The blockade is being enforced equally on ships from all countries entering or exiting from Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
It continued: US forces are supporting the freedom of navigation for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz on their way to and from non-Iranian ports.
