The Israeli Army Completes Encirclement of Bint Jbeil and Begins Attack on It
SadaNews: The Israeli occupation army announced that it has completed the encirclement of the city of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon and has begun a wide-scale attack on it with the participation of paratrooper and commando forces as well as the Golani Brigade, as part of what it described as strengthening the front-line defense along the northern border.
According to Channel 12, the Israeli army is currently focusing its operations on controlling Bint Jbeil, noting that the operation may continue for a full week amidst ongoing field escalation.
Additionally, the Hebrew channel reported that the northern command of the army has decided to establish 15 permanent camps on the front line of the Lebanese villages, following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the border area.
The channel also clarified that the army received orders to achieve as many targets as possible in Lebanon before the anticipated negotiations in Washington, in anticipation of a possible sudden halt to military operations.
In turn, Hezbollah announced that it has launched more than 400 rockets and 40 drones since the ceasefire with Iran, indicating the continuation of confrontations on the southern Lebanese front despite international pressure to calm the situation.
