The Occupation Army Confirms the Assassination of the Secretary of the Secretary-General of 'Hezbollah'

SadaNews - The Israeli Occupation Army announced that it has eliminated Ali Youssef Harshi, the personal secretary to the Secretary-General of 'Hezbollah' Naeem Qassem, in a raid targeting the Lebanese capital Beirut last night, Wednesday.

The Occupation Army stated in a statement that Harshi is the nephew of Naeem Qassem and was close and a personal advisor to him, playing a central role in managing and securing his office.

The statement indicated that the army carried out raids over the past night targeting two additional key crossings used by Hezbollah elements as transit routes from the north of the Litani River to its south, for transporting thousands of weaponry, missiles, and launch platforms.

Around 10 weapon warehouses, launch platforms, and command headquarters belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon were also targeted, as part of a series of operations aimed at dismantling the organization’s infrastructure.

Israel carried out wide and surprising strikes across Lebanon yesterday, Wednesday, including intense raids on the Lebanese capital Beirut, after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied that a ceasefire between Washington and Tehran was in effect regarding Israeli operations in Lebanon.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon resulted in the martyrdom of at least 182 people.

The Israeli army stated that the attack targeted 'Hezbollah' leaders and its military infrastructure, while Lebanese authorities affirmed that a large number of civilians were killed or injured.
