Injuries and damage at about 30 sites in the Tel Aviv area as Israel attacks Iran's largest petrochemical facility

SadaNews - Iran renewed its shelling of central Israel on Monday afternoon, with projectiles and shrapnel from an Iranian cluster missile and others from interceptions falling at about 30 sites in the Tel Aviv area, one of which directly hit a residential building in "Ramat Gan." "Magen David Adom" reported that its teams dealt with an injured person (44 years old) in moderate condition from the place of direct impact, due to the force of the blast.

Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz stated on Monday afternoon that "the army struck the largest petrochemical facility in Iran located in Asaluyeh," indicating that "the two facilities responsible for about 85% of petrochemical production in Iran have gone out of service and are no longer operational."

In Haifa, the death toll from the Iranian missile strike rose to 4, after it directly hit a residential building yesterday, Sunday. This follows the recovery of the bodies of the last two missing persons on Monday afternoon by rescue and ambulance teams after hours of searching for those trapped under the rubble. "Magen David Adom" reported that the two bodies found are those of a man (40 years old) and a woman (35 years old), who showed no signs of life, and the teams had no choice but to declare their deaths at the scene. Earlier, two other bodies were found of an elderly man and woman in their eighties at the same location, bringing the death toll in Israel to 23 since the onset of the war against Iran.

Meanwhile, diplomatic talks are ongoing through regional mediators between Washington and Tehran to discuss a potential 45-day ceasefire that could lead to a permanent end to the war. American and Israeli sources confirmed that the chances of reaching a partial agreement in the next 48 hours are slim, but this represents the last opportunity to prevent a wide escalation that could include strikes on Iranian civilian and military facilities.
