Hebrew Report: Naeem Qassem "In the Crosshairs of Assassination"
SadaNews - Channel 12 reported in its report estimates from the Israeli army indicating that Hezbollah is capable of launching about 200 rockets daily for another 5 months.
According to the report, despite the intense military pressure, the Israeli army estimates that Hezbollah manages what resembles a "weapon economy" that allows it to continue launching rocket and drone attacks at a high rate within Israel, with expectations of maintaining a firing rate close to 200 operations daily for more than another five months.
Israeli estimates show that Hezbollah carefully manages its stock of rockets and shells, assuming the existence of hundreds of launch platforms, mostly north of the Litani River, spread within homes and residential areas to complicate their detection and destruction from the air.
Conversely, the Israeli army points to weaknesses in Hezbollah's structure, including a gap between the central leadership in Beirut and the armed groups in southern Lebanon, and a noticeable decline in morale, with a drop in recruitment of elements and attempts to avoid direct confrontation, according to the report.
Israel still, according to its sources, refuses to link the course of the war in Lebanon to Iran, insisting on continuing the campaign until the area south of the Litani becomes "completely demilitarized," whether through the Israeli army or the Lebanese army, confirming that "true security" for residents of northern Israel will not be achieved except through this formulation.
Israel also issued a direct warning to the current leadership of Hezbollah, as security sources told N12 that the party's Secretary-General Naeem Qassem is targeted for assassination, and that he is "in the crosshairs," with any operational opportunity exploited to take action against him, as part of an intensive strategy aimed at Hezbollah's leadership and its growing capabilities north of the borders, according to the Hebrew report.
