Israel Intensifies Airstrikes in Lebanon as Hezbollah Continues to Bomb Northern Settlements

SadaNews - On Saturday, the Israeli army continued to carry out extensive attacks in various areas of Lebanon.

According to Lebanese sources, many people were martyred and injured in a series of scattered airstrikes.

The number of martyrs in Lebanon has risen to more than 1,400 since the onset of the ongoing aggression on March 2.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported early Saturday that 32 people were injured, including three paramedics, and a hospital was damaged due to Israeli airstrikes targeting the southern region of the country.

The ministry stated in a report that "11 people were injured, including three paramedics from the Lebanese Civil Defense, as an initial toll from two Israeli airstrikes on the al-Hosh area in the city of Tyre."

It added that "the two airstrikes caused damage to the Lebanese-Italian hospital, which is still operational."

The Israeli airstrikes targeted homes, shops, and lands in various locations, including Tabnin, al-Borj al-Shamali, Majdel Silm, Sahmar, al-Hermel, Marjeyoun, and other areas.

Three airstrikes were also carried out on the southern suburbs of Beirut, one of which targeted a fuel station.

The Israeli army announced that it attacked several targets associated with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

In this context, Hezbollah continued to strike at the Israeli northern settlements.

Hezbollah launched consecutive rocket barrages and attacked Israeli ground forces that crossed into Lebanese territory.
