Israel Expects Multiple Strikes from Iran and Lebanon and Reveals New Assassinations
SadaNews Translation - Hebrew Channel 12 reported on Thursday evening that Israeli security assessments indicate the possibility of Iran, alongside Hezbollah, attempting to increase the frequency of gunfire at Israel during the upcoming days of the holiday.
This comes amid the continued launching of rockets from both fronts during Passover.
According to the channel, as translated by SadaNews, there is currently no specific information on this matter but assessments suggest that it could indeed happen.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Israeli army stated that during Passover, they eliminated the commander of the ballistic missiles unit in Iran and three other leaders from the unit.
He pointed out that his forces are targeting the Iranian economic nerve and will continue their attacks throughout Iran.
He also mentioned that his forces continue their harsh strikes in Lebanon, having killed more than 1,000 leaders and members of Hezbollah.
Meanwhile, a report from the Hebrew Channel Reshet Kan indicated that there are assessments within the Israeli army suggesting that within approximately a week, the military mission to position itself on the "Anti-Tank Defense Line" in Lebanon, about eight kilometers from the Israeli border, will be completed, as translated by SadaNews.
The aim of positioning on the "Anti-Tank Defense Line" is to prevent the possibility of firing anti-tank missiles at the northern settlements.
It noted that the political level will also discuss the next phase and the possibility of Israel controlling the security sector through permanent sites or another defensive method that does not involve a physical presence within Lebanese territory.
