Raids and Arrests in Bethlehem and Hebron, Clashes in Al-Arroub Camp

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions in the occupied West Bank early Thursday morning, accompanied by clashes and arrests targeting a number of Palestinians, along with the storming of homes and towns in various areas, resulting in the destruction of home contents and subjecting residents to field interrogations after detaining them for hours. This campaign was particularly focused in the governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron.

In Bethlehem governorate, the occupation forces stormed the Dheisheh and Aida refugee camps, as well as the towns of Al-Khader, Doha, and Beit Fajjar, conducting reconnaissance rounds and maintaining a heavy military presence.

The occupation forces also raided Aida camp north of Bethlehem, searching the homes of Palestinians, including those of Yazn Raboun, Hisham Al-Amir, Nayef Dawood Zabon, and Muhammad Hussein Al-Araj.

In Hebron governorate, the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar and Idna, and raided the home of Yamen Hasan Sabarnah in Beit Zatta, while clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and occupation forces in Al-Arroub camp north of the city, involving live ammunition and tear gas. The occupation forces continued to invade the city of Tubas in the northern West Bank.

This comes amid escalating military operations and ongoing attacks targeting Palestinian towns and villages, alongside organized and protected settler assaults.

The Palestine Information Center "Ma'ata" recorded 21,166 Israeli violations from the beginning of the year until the end of March, with 1,286 of these carried out by settlers, reflecting an expanding circle of assaults involving killings, arrests, and repression.

This escalation has resulted in the martyrdom of 37 Palestinians and the injury of 701 others due to gunfire, direct assaults, and excessive use of force by the occupation.
