Gaza: Martyrs and Injured by Occupation Gunfire
SadaNews - The Israeli army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, with artillery and air strikes targeting checkpoints and residential neighborhoods, resulting in the martyrdom of civilians and police officers, as well as injuries to others, amid a strict siege that hinders the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to the displaced.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that 4 martyrs and 12 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours due to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The ministry confirmed that a number of victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the streets, amidst difficulties in getting ambulance and civil defense crews to them.
Since the ceasefire was declared on October 11, 2025, the total number of martyrs has reached 713 and the total number of injuries is 1,940, while the number of retrieval cases stands at 756. The cumulative statistics since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, indicate that 72,289 people have been martyred and 172,040 others have been injured.
A young man was martyred early Wednesday in the Gaza Strip, succumbing to his injuries from an Israeli bombardment two days ago, as the Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in the region for the 174th consecutive day.
These violations include artillery and air strikes, gunfire from military vehicles and naval warboats, as well as the demolition and explosion of buildings and facilities in various areas of the strip.
