Intelligence Information on U.S. Airstrikes Destroying Only About a Third of Iran's Missiles
SadaNews - Five sources familiar with American intelligence information have stated that the United States can confirm it has destroyed about a third of Iran's missile arsenal, at a time when the U.S.-Israeli military campaign approaches the threshold of a month.
Four of the sources added that the status of another third is not precisely clear, but it is likely that the bombings have caused damage, destroyed, or buried them in underground tunnels and trenches.
The sources requested not to be identified due to the sensitivity of the information.
One source indicated that intelligence regarding Iran's drone capabilities is similar, noting that there is some degree of confidence that a third of them were destroyed.
Reuters quoted an American official stating that there are doubts about Washington's ability to accurately assess Iran's missile capabilities due to the lack of knowledge regarding the number of missiles present underground.
According to an American intelligence assessment, Tehran still possesses a large stockpile of missiles and may recover some of the buried missiles.
