Qassem: The Resistance is Determined to Continue Without Limit and Has Chosen the Timing to Respond to the Aggression

SadaNews - The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Naeem Qassem, stated in a message issued today, Wednesday, that the resistance has chosen the timing to respond to the Israeli aggression, indicating that it has made the appropriate preparations and is determined to continue without limit; this statement comes as the latest since the party joined the war alongside Iran on March 2, 2024.

In his message, he stated, "It is no longer hidden from anyone that there is a dangerous American-Israeli project, which is Greater Israel, based on occupation and expansion from the Euphrates to the Nile, including Lebanon. The American-Israeli aggression against Lebanon has not stopped since April 27, 2024, and the Israeli enemy has not adhered to the agreement, but continued its aggression continuously for fifteen months."

Qassem added, "It has become clear that we face two options: either surrender and concede our land, dignity, and sovereignty, and the future of our generations, or accept the inevitable confrontation and resist the occupation to prevent it from achieving its goals. The timing was chosen by the resistance to respond to the aggression and defend Lebanon, thwarting the Israeli enemy’s chance to surprise us, preventing it from isolating Lebanon, and debunking all claims for excuses, as the rocket barrage does not necessitate a war, and the excuses hold no meaning in light of the ongoing aggression for fifteen months."

He affirmed that "the resistance has made the appropriate preparations, proving its effectiveness and competence, with the sacrificing young Mujahideen presenting the most remarkable epics of heroism, honor, national pride, and dignity. They are determined to continue without limit, ready to sacrifice without bounds, and they are now the shining symbol of national pride and the light of upcoming liberation."

He pointed out that "the aggression is the problem and the danger, while the resistance is the hope and liberation. The responsibility to confront the aggression is a national duty for everyone: government, people, army, factions, sects, parties, and every citizen. The American-Israeli aggression seeks to strip Lebanon of its strength and control its policies and the future of its children. It aims to deprive Lebanon of its sovereignty and independence by instigating strife and internal conflict, legitimizing the Israeli occupation, and preventing the army from arming and defending the homeland... and responding is a national responsibility."

In response to disarming Hezbollah, Qassem stated, "When the exclusivity of arms is raised in response to Israel's demands while the occupation and aggression continue, it is a step towards the dissolution of Lebanon and the realization of the vision of Greater Israel. When negotiations with the Israeli enemy are proposed under fire, it is an imposition of surrender and an extraction of all the capabilities of Lebanon, in addition to the fact that negotiating with an enemy that occupies land and attacks daily is fundamentally rejected."

He continued, "There is no war for others on Lebanese soil; rather, it is the war of Israel and America against Lebanon, in contrast to the defense by the resistance, the people, the army, the honorable, the patriots, and the forces believing in Lebanon's independence and liberation. We are in a defensive battle for Lebanon and its citizens, and those who achieve martyrdom are from our men, women, children of the homeland, and what we liberate is the land of our homeland, Lebanon. We call for national unity against the American-Israeli enemy, under one title in this phase: stopping the aggression to liberate the land and the human. All other titles can be discussed afterward."

Qassem said, "Look at the American-Israeli aggression against Lebanon; it kills civilians, destroys buildings, displaces villages and towns, and works towards annihilating cultivation and offspring, cowardly facing the brave resistance. This resistance is not defeated, along with its people and citizens and the honorable in our country. We are confident that we will not be defeated, no matter the sacrifices."

He concluded his message by stating, "As for what is happening in facing the Islamic Republic of Iran against the global American-Israeli aggression, it is a lesson for consideration. Iran has stood firm against the fiercest of the earth, its criminals, and its savages, and it will triumph, God willing. Know that every victory in confronting America and Israel brings goodness that encompasses everyone."
