Iranian Attack Targets Southern Israel
SadaNews: The southern front of "Israel" witnessed a state of alert early today following the detection of an Iranian missile attack targeting extensive areas including Dimona and Be'er Sheva. The Israeli Home Front Command announced the activation of the early warning system, with sirens sounding in several cities and areas including Be'er Sheva, Kiryat Gat, and the Western and Central Negev.
The Israeli occupation army confirmed that it detected the missile attack and worked to intercept it using air defense systems, noting that search and rescue forces headed to sites where reports of damage were received. At the same time, Israeli media reported hearing explosions in the Western Negev and the city of Arad, while Channel 12 reported that a violent explosion occurred in Be'er Sheva.
Israeli radio also mentioned that there were initial reports of at least two injuries in the southern part of Be'er Sheva, while ambulance teams began combing the targeted sites after receiving reports of debris falling in various areas.
