Iranian President: Our Country Has No "Disputes" with Our Neighbors

SadaNews - Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian said on social media today, Saturday, that "the only beneficiary of our disputes is the Zionist entity," referring to Israel.

He added that his country has "no disputes with its neighbors."

The Iranian president had threatened last Wednesday with further escalation in the Middle East, following airstrikes targeting gas facilities in the Gulf region.

In a post on the social media platform "X", Bezhakian stated that "aggressive actions" would not be in the interest of Israel, the United States, or their allies, but would only exacerbate the situation.

On the other hand, Iran today held the funeral for Minister of Intelligence Ismail al-Khatib in the holy city of Qom, which is a center for the shrines and Shia scholars, according to Iranian state media.

Al-Khatib was killed in an Israeli airstrike last week, and he was among the senior Iranian officials who were killed in the war, including leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran also held the funeral today for the spokesperson of the Revolutionary Guard, Ali Mohammad Naeini, who was killed the previous day in an Israeli airstrike, according to Iranian state media.

Iranian state television and other semi-official media broadcast footage showing the funeral prayer, which they said was for the soul of Naeini.
