Woman killed and several others injured by falling rocket shrapnel in Beit Awwa near Hebron
SadaNews - A woman was killed and several other citizens were injured this evening, Wednesday, due to falling rocket shrapnel in the town of Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron, according to medical and local sources.
The Red Crescent Society announced that its crews dealt with one fatality at the scene due to the rocket strike, noting that the victim was transported to the hospital.
In this context, the official Palestinian news agency ("Wafa") reported that rocket shrapnel fell on a women's salon in the town, resulting in injuries to several citizens with varying degrees of wounds.
Local sources mentioned that some of the injuries were described as critical, while ambulance crews worked to provide field treatment and transfer the injured to hospitals for further care.
