Revealing Details of the Assassination Operation of Ali Larijani
Translation by SadaNews - The Hebrew channel Reshet Kan revealed new details on Tuesday evening about the assassination operation of the head of Iran's National Security Council, Ali Larijani.
According to the channel, as translated by SadaNews, in recent days, the Israeli intelligence has succeeded in gathering dramatic intelligence about a private apartment where Larijani was hiding. He initially concealed himself at the start of the operation and was not seen in public, and it became clear that he exerted efforts to make it more difficult to locate him.
According to the channel, a rare window of opportunity was created yesterday when Larijani was located in an apartment near Tehran. The information was verified by Mossad, confirming that the target was inside the apartment.
It noted that within a short time, the political level approved the assassination, and the commander of the Air Force and the head of Mossad led the operation from the operations room.
It revealed that at 1:50 AM, Israeli Air Force fighter jets arrived above the building and launched precision bombs that directly hit the apartment, with additional bombs penetrating inside, resulting in the assassination of the senior Iranian official.
Israeli security officials stated: There had been previous attempts to assassinate Larijani, even during the opening strike of Operation Lion's Roar, but only now, after about two and a half weeks since the campaign began, did it succeed.
The operation was entirely Israeli and without American assistance, the channel reported.
