Iran: The Presence of the USS Gerald Ford in the Red Sea is a Threat to Us
SadaNews - The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters stated that the presence of the American aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford in the Red Sea represents a threat to Iran.
The USS Gerald Ford is the largest aircraft carrier in the world; it entered service in July 2017 as the first ship of its class in the U.S. Navy. Its construction cost around 12 billion U.S. dollars, and it is equipped with electromagnetic launch systems, two nuclear reactors, and advanced combat equipment.
The carrier carries more than 75 aircraft and performs major strategic missions in support of U.S. military operations and America's allies around the world.
