Trump Issues New Threat to Iran: 'Watch What Happens to These Crazy Bastards Today'

SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump issued a new threat to Iran, stating: "Watch what happens to these crazy bastards today."

Trump posted the message on his platform "Truth Social" today, Friday, adding that "the Iranian navy is finished, its air force is no longer present, and missiles, drones, and everything else are being destroyed, as their leaders are being wiped off the face of the earth." Trump wrote: "They have been killing innocents all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States, am killing them." He added, "What a great honor it is to do so!"

The U.S. president had previously stated that he believes the new Iranian leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who killed his father on the first day of the war, is alive but "injured."

The Iranians have not seen Khamenei since his selection last Sunday as the Supreme Leader of the country, and a broadcaster on television read his first comments made yesterday, Thursday. Reuters quoted an Iranian official on Wednesday saying that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured but continues his work, and state television reported that he was wounded in the war.

Trump said in an interview on Fox News, "I suspect he (is alive). I think he is injured." Fox News aired his comments late yesterday, Thursday.

In Khamenei's first remarks, he pledged to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed and called on neighboring countries to close U.S. bases on their territory, or else they risk being targeted by Iran.

The United States and Israel began attacks on Iran on February 28. Iran responded by launching attacks on Israel and Gulf countries. The leaders of Iran, Israel, and the United States continue to show defiance, vowing to continue the fight as the war approaches its third week, having claimed hundreds of lives and shaken the financial markets.
