Youth Martyred and His Brother Injured by Settlers' Gunfire in Massafer Yatta South of Hebron
SadaNews - A young man was martyred this evening, Saturday, and his brother was injured by gunfire from settlers in Massafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
The Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of the young man, Amir Muhammad Shanaran (27 years old), by bullets fired by settlers in the Wadi al-Rakhim area in Massafer Yatta.
Anti-settlement activist Osama Mukhamra and medical sources reported that the young man Amir Muhammad Shanaran (28 years old) was martyred and his brother Khaled (33 years old) was critically injured as settlers from the illegal settlement of Susiya fired upon them while they were near their home in the Khirbat Wadi al-Rakhim area in Massafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
With the martyrdom of young Shanaran, the number of martyrs who have fallen to settler gunfire since the beginning of this year has risen to 4 martyrs, while the number has increased to 40 martyrs since October 7, 2023, amidst escalating settler attacks on Palestinian villages, towns, and gatherings in the West Bank, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
