Translation by SadaNews - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday evening that in consultation with his Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, they decided to take control of more areas within Lebanese borders.

According to Katz, as translated by SadaNews, he received permission to advance and seize additional areas under Israeli control in Lebanon, in order to prevent gunfire from being directed towards the settlements and to work on protecting them.

He noted that this will be in addition to the five points currently controlled by the Israeli army inside Lebanon.

He stated: the Israeli army carried out its operations at night and continued to control several areas.
