America Acknowledges the Death and Injury of 8 Soldiers in the War on Iran

SadaNews - The U.S. Central Command announced today, Sunday, that 3 soldiers were killed and 5 others were seriously injured during the operation "Epic Fury" launched by the United States against Iran since Saturday.

According to a statement from the command, other soldiers sustained minor injuries from shrapnel and others suffered concussions, and "they are now in the process of returning to service."

The U.S. Central Command confirmed that major combat operations are still ongoing and that it is responding to Iran.

The statement indicated that the command is currently refraining from disclosing any additional information about what happened, and it will not reveal the identities of the fallen soldiers until 24 hours after notifying their relatives.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it carried out a wide-ranging military response to the attacks launched by the United States and Israel on Iran since Saturday, confirming that the response resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of Americans and Israelis.

The spokesperson for the Quds Headquarters of the Revolutionary Guard stated that the Iranian response included targeting vital, security, and military centers inside the occupied Palestinian territories, along with executing strikes described as "devastating" that hit 14 major U.S. military bases in the region.

However, the spokesperson for the U.S. Central Command denied in a statement to Al Jazeera what he termed the "Iranian allegations of killing and injuring 200 soldiers."

In its initial statements on Saturday, the U.S. Central Command said there were no reports of injuries among U.S. forces, and no U.S. warships were harmed. It added that the damage to U.S. facilities as a result of the Iranian attacks was minor.
