UNRWA: Sharp Increase in Skin Infections and Waterborne Diseases in Gaza Strip
SadaNews - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated on Friday that forced displacement and aid restrictions in Gaza have led to overcrowded populations, deteriorating shelters, and inadequate sanitation services, which increase the spread of diseases.
It revealed in a tweet on the "X" platform that its teams in Gaza confirmed a sharp increase in skin infections and waterborne diseases.
It added: UNRWA is working to assist people through health and sanitation services, but we need more authority to meet the enormous needs.
