Egypt Condemns Huckabee's Statements on Israel's Control over the Middle East
SadaNews - Egypt condemned the statements attributed to Mike Huckabee, the American ambassador to Israel, in a talk show, which included claims regarding Israel's entitlement to lands belonging to Arab countries, considering this a blatant violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Egypt expressed its astonishment in a statement from its Foreign Ministry today regarding these statements, which contradict the vision presented by President Donald Trump and the related twenty points to end the war in Gaza, as well as the Peace Council conference held in Washington on February 19, 2026.
Egypt also reiterated that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian land or any other Arab lands, emphasizing its categorical rejection of any attempts to annex the West Bank or separate it from Gaza, as well as rejecting the expansion of settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories.
