Saudi Arabia and Kuwait condemn the occupation's decision to convert land in the West Bank to 'state property'

SadaNews - Today, Monday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait condemned the Israeli occupation government's decision to convert lands in the West Bank to what it claims are "state properties."

The Saudi Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian land, reiterating its total rejection of these illegal measures, which constitute a serious violation of international law, undermine the two-state solution, and represent an assault on the inherent right of the brotherly Palestinian people to establish their own independent sovereign state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

It noted that this decision falls within the framework of plans aimed at imposing a new legal and administrative reality in the occupied West Bank, undermining ongoing efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.

For its part, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry expressed its strong condemnation and denouncement of this decision in a post on the "X" platform, considering it a continuation of the blatant violations of all international laws, customs, and relevant Security Council resolutions.

It emphasized that the imposition of non-Palestinian sovereignty over the occupied West Bank is absolutely unacceptable, affirming that any decision to annex lands in the occupied West Bank is considered null and illegitimate, and undermines the international community's efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in accordance with Security Council resolutions and the two-state solution.

The ministry reiterated Kuwait's firm position in supporting the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state along the borders of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital, calling on the international community to assume its legal, ethical, and humanitarian responsibilities in deterring Israeli violations to preserve Palestinian rights and enhance security and stability in the region.
