Three People Killed in U.S. Strike Targeting Boat in the Caribbean
SadaNews - The U.S. military announced that it carried out a new attack targeting a boat suspected of drug smuggling in the Caribbean Sea.
The U.S. Southern Command stated on social media that the boat "was traveling through known drug trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was involved in drug smuggling operations." They added that the strike resulted in the deaths of three individuals.
A video linked to the post shows a boat moving through the water before it explodes and catches fire.
This military attack increases the death toll from strikes carried out by the Trump administration on boats suspected of drug smuggling to 133 people in at least 38 attacks conducted since early September in the Caribbean and East Pacific Ocean.
