Israeli Minister: Agreement with Tehran is "Worthless" and the Solution Lies in Regime Change
SadaNews - Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen confirmed that Tel Aviv retains the right to take military action against Iran to protect its security, and that any agreement will not restrict this right.
Cohen clarified in an interview with Wainet that Israel will intervene militarily without hesitation if a direct threat from Iran materializes, even if there is an agreement in place with Tehran.
He emphasized that Israel is a sovereign state, and its security decisions are made solely according to its national interests.
He also claimed that changing the ruling regime in Tehran is a shared interest for the countries in the region, describing any agreement with the current regime as "worthless".
These statements come amid escalating regional tensions, coinciding with an intensive U.S. military buildup in the area.
