The Ministry of Awqaf Announces Instructions for Completing Registration for the Hajj Season

SadaNews - The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs announced the instructions for completing registration for the northern governorates and confirming registration for the southern governorates.

The ministry called upon all the winners of the Hajj lottery for the season of 1447 AH / 2026 AD in the northern governorates (West Bank and Jerusalem) to head to the Awqaf directorates in their respective areas to receive a payment receipt for the Hajj fees according to the accommodation level chosen by the pilgrim, starting from the morning of Sunday, February 8, 2026, until the end of the working day on Monday, February 16, 2026.

The Awqaf also requested that after paying the fees, the pilgrims must submit their valid Palestinian passports to the Awqaf directorates, which should be valid until at least November 30, 2026, with a deadline of February 28, 2026, attached with a certified health certificate issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, proving compliance with the health requirements approved by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These include the following:

- No failure of any major organs (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys).

- Free from neurological and psychological diseases that hinder perception or are accompanied by severe movement disabilities.

- Free from aging accompanied by dementia.

- No pregnancy in the later months or at risk pregnancy at any stage.

- Free from any active cancer that requires chemotherapy, biological or radiation therapy.

- Free from active infectious diseases affecting public health, such as open tuberculosis (pulmonary TB).

- Attachment of a certificate indicating receipt of the required vaccinations (COVID-19, meningococcal fever).

- The ministry also called on the lottery winners holding the Jerusalem ID to submit their Palestinian passport applications at the Awqaf directorates.
