Ukraine: Major Russian Attack on the Power Grid
SadaNews - The Ukrainian electricity network operating company announced today (Saturday) that Russian forces launched a "large-scale attack" on the energy infrastructure in Ukraine, causing power outages across the country.
The company "Ukrenergo" stated in a message via the "Telegram" application: "Due to the damage inflicted by the enemy, emergency power outages have been imposed in most regions."
The Ukrainian authorities reported casualties and injuries from Russian shelling in the Kherson, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions.
Additionally, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that "very good discussions" are ongoing regarding the Russian war in Ukraine, adding, without going into details, that "something may happen" as a result of these negotiations.
